Seahawk One Ltd. and Meyer Werft GmbH signed the contract for the construction of S.707, a new Breakaway-Plus class cruise ship.


28 October 2016

Steel cutting ceremony for S.707.  She was slightly larger than Norwegian Joy, but with the same basic design.


17 February 2018

Norwegian Bliss is floated out of Hall 2 at Meyer Werft, stern first.


15 March 2018

Norwegian Bliss is completed by Meyer Werft.


21 April 2018

Norwegian Cruise Line, through their subsidiary Seahawk One Ltd., takes delivery of Norwegian Bliss.

Norwegian Bliss becomes the largest cruise ship to ever transit the Panama Canal on her way to her homeport of Seattle.
