14 December 2010

Steel cutting ceremony for Fincantieri yard number 6223.


20 October 2011

The first block of 6223 is laid down in a drydock in Fincantieri's Monfalcone shipyard in Italy.


31 July 2012

Royal Princess is floated out of the drydock and moved to the fitting out berth.


1 May 2013

Princess Cruises takes delivery of Royal Princess from Fincantieri S.p.A.  The ship is valued at $735,000,000.
